DISCO Makes GC Hire
eDiscovery company DISCO has hired Susan Garcia as its General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, she previously worked at WebMD, Reuters, and NBC. And it’s also launched its genAI Cecilia product across Europe.
Second AI Benchmarking Study
Following the launch of a genAI benchmarking study headed by John Craske of CMS and LITIG, another one is launching with LLM evaluation company Vals, along with support from the Legaltech Hub, Reed Smith and Thomson Reuters, LexisNexis, vLex and others – several of which are also taking part in the first one. So, let’s hope the two projects can work together, otherwise it will be a bit of an inefficient process.
Opus 2 Taps GenAI For New Features
Litigation-focused Opus 2 has launched new AI features, including GenAI-assisted document summarisation and analysis. It has also integrated Microsoft Office into its Opus 2 Cases solution, enabling users to draft and analyse Microsoft documents while remaining within the platform.
Legatics Launches Collate
Legatics has announced a new ‘Collate’ feature, with which you can upload signed pages and collate them into your final document, all in just a few clicks. This new feature will simplify your wet-ink signature process, they said. Also, it is now integrated with NetDocuments for a smoother workflow.
Consilio + Conga Work More Closely
Consilio has expanded its strategic partnership with Conga, the ‘Revenue Lifecycle Management’ company. Leveraging their combined CLM expertise, revenue management solution requirements can be brought on a single open platform, powered by a unified data model and purpose-built AI, they said.
JAMS Expands GenAI Projects
ADR group JAMs has launched its ‘Next’ project, which provides AI-powered tools and resources that now includes transcription services, an AI-assisted neutral search to aid in sorting through panelists, plus the JAMS Artificial Intelligence Disputes Clause and Rules facility, which launched earlier in the year.
TR Provides Better Integration of CoCounsel into Westlaw + Practical Law
Thomson Reuters is introducing a deeper integration of its genAI assistant CoCounsel into Westlaw and Practical Law. The full CoCounsel AI assistant will be available in the user interface of Westlaw and Practical Law, enabling users to be able to use CoCounsel Core skills seamlessly; secondly, users will soon be able to create an on-page analysis of Westlaw and Practical Law content with CoCounsel.
